Cancion Franklin is a rock and country musician originally from Arizona who has relocated to New York City. He spoke about going back home to Arizona when the Pandemic was taking off. He ended up breaking his arm while he was back in Arizona and spoke about how songwriting was for him while his arm was healing. We spoke about how his songwriting evolved from Stone to Stone to “Just Made Rent.” Cancion spoke about how getting his music played on the Roots Music Report and with the Americana Music Association improved things for himself. He elaborated on getting News 4 New York to do a news story on him. He spoke about his feelings on being a producer and what he was trying to do working on Leah Test’s All You Ramblers.
