For Generations, when it comes on to sex we have been thrown out into the water and was expected to swim, and that we did. Many of us did not have the 'birds and the bees" talk it was rebutted/invalidated with answers such as "you fell out of the sky" when asked how did I get here. Due to this cultural practice throughout the generations Jamaica has been plagued with high teenage pregnancy rates, rape cases reported and unreported as no one really understands the full scope of things.
