Hello and welcome to the latest episode of our podcast India on Call. From this week onwards we will be having India on Call on audio as well as a video platform. Till now Indian on Call was streaming on all major streaming platforms and now it will be on youtube also.

In this edition of India on Call, Aditya is joined with Anubhav. They are talking about everything one needs to know about RCEP. Aditya started the conversation by asking Anubhav about what is RCEP? Anubhav told that it is Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership. It is a free trade agreement between Asia-Pacific nations. Excitingly these RCEP countries have 30% of the world's population and 30% of the world's GDP. The talk about RCEP started in 2012.

Anubhav told that the USA was having a Trans-Pacific trade partnership, which was the largest free trade agreement between any bloc of countries but when Trump joins the office, he dropped out of the USA from the same deal. Since then finding the vacuum in space, China is talking aggressively about RCEP.

They also talked about the various factors because of which India didn't join the RCEP and what are the merits and demerits of not joining RCEP. for more listen to the conversation or watch the video. Don't forget to visit our website srmpodcasts.com
