In this edition of India on Call, Aditya is joined with Anubhav. They are talking about everything one needs to know about RCEP. Aditya started the conversation by asking Anubhav about what is RCEP? Anubhav told that it is Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership. It is a free trade agreement between Asia-Pacific nations. Excitingly these RCEP countries have 30% of the world's population and 30% of the world's GDP. The talk about RCEP started in 2012.
Anubhav told that the USA was having a Trans-Pacific trade partnership, which was the largest free trade agreement between any bloc of countries but when Trump joins the office, he dropped out of the USA from the same deal. Since then finding the vacuum in space, China is talking aggressively about RCEP.
