Today we are excited to welcome Amanda Frank to the Inclusive Ed podcast who is a board-certified behavior analyst with a career spanning over 15 years in the fields of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Inclusive Education.
Amanda has dedicated her educational journey to understanding the intricacies of human development and learning. In addition to advanced degrees in child and adolescent development, teaching, and applied behavior analysis, she has also completed additional master’s coursework in inclusive leadership, which is a testament to her desire to create environments that embrace diversity and promote inclusivity.
Amanda’s professional experiences have led her to contribute her expertise in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Boston, Ecuador, and Bulgaria. Over the years, Amanda has provided support to individuals aged 2 to 22, both in home and school settings.
Her commitment to collaboration and advocacy has continued in her role as one of the founding members of SENIA Bulgaria. Serving as a co-chair, she has played an integral part in fostering a community that champions the rights and well-being of individuals with diverse needs throughout Bulgaria.
Currently, Amanda serves as the PreK-12 Behavior and Intensive Support Specialist at the Anglo-American School of Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria. There, she works to create a nurturing and empowering environment that supports students' behavioral and educational needs. Amanda also dedicates time to enhancing professional development and educational opportunities for educators and families alike. Recognizing the significance of identifying, addressing, and supporting behavior needs, she has passionately shared her insights and expertise with the aim of empowering others to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve.
