Kate Hartley is co-founder of the crisis simulation company, Polpeo and a super experienced crisis communications expert. When we found out that she was about to publish a book on the topic, we knew we had to get her on the show.
In this episode we asked Kate everything about high pressure situations, how to lead in a crisis, looking at examples from the best (and the worst!), how to build the right team, why she's got such beef with the word empathy....and of course, we asked her about a time when she's had to admit defeat and eat humble pie.
