Marleah and James talk about the Bastille (with Joywave) show that James saw on 9/24/19 at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. Marleah loves some Madonna-esque camp onstage and is delighted to hear Dan Smith’s take on this in his own performance. James expresses his annoyance at loudmouths who talk during the show, couples who sing lyrics at each other with no clue as to their meaning, and a lonely piece of confetti in lieu of a full drop. And Marleah and James find themselves on the same page when it comes to matchy-matchy outfits- no one did it better than The Hives.
