In this episode of Healing the Divide, I explore the divide in our relationship with the food we eat with registered dietitian Megan Fahey. We examine the implications of our dietary choices as related to our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health as well as the impact of our food choices on both culture and environment.

This conversation explores the impact of early childhood and cultural influences on our beliefs and patterns around food. Megan shares her personal journey with disordered eating and how she integrates disordered eating and functional nutrition in her work through the use of vagal toning exercises to support neuroplasticity in the moment of our meals. She provides practical tools for reframing our beliefs around food by inquiring into the matrilineal connection and the impact of our mother's relationship with food.

This was an eye opening conversation through which I personally learned so much and left feeling empowered. I hope you do as well!
