天下雜誌1981年創刊，2021年滿40週年，40年來天下紀錄了台灣進步的軌跡。《好好說那年》從1981年開始，逐年整理台灣最重要的大事，並邀請當時具代表性的人物，來說說那一年發生在他們身上難忘的故事。此外也選出年度最具影響力的歌曲，呼應時代背景與社會氛圍，讓年輕世代即使沒有走過那段日子，也能透過故事和音符，回到當年的時空脈絡，見證台灣成長的軌跡。
