The other day I was walking down the street and I noticed a cool looking car driving towards me. Down the road it looked metallic purplish blue, as it got a little closer it turned lighter in the sun and was totally chrome, and as it passed by the sun reflected off of it and it looked pinkish red. Have you ever seen a paint job like this?

From where I was standing on the street, from where the car was at, from where the sun reflected… the car took on an array of changing colors. My perspective was probably not the same as the person 10 feet ahead of me.

Where is this true in your life? “It depends” could be a fair statement. It depends on your perspective, your lived experience, your world view, your bias, your hopes, what you ate… I mean for real. Some days I can look at the exact same situation that the day before I thought was perfect, yet somehow sleep made the situation made it seem different.

I guess it really depends how you look at it.

Isn’t that like life! It evolves and changes and rearranges continually. So in the best of ways, if you don’t know what to do in a situation, maybe just waiting and letting it breathe and mature is exactly what needs to be done. Tomorrow, you might know exactly what to do. This is also a reminder to consider all the perspective and when you know something is right, it’s ripe, its ready… then go for it. Don’t look back.

And as Rumi has said: ”Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.”
Where in your life is it time to hold?… maybe wait.
Where in your life is it time to let go?… act and move on.

Trust yourself to know when to make the big moves you know you’ll need to make. And then don’t second guess yourself. Hey tomorrow, the sun might hit the car differently and it will totally changes colors.
