Honest Ocean is working hard to make sure that plastic doesn’t end up in the ocean, but for the plastic that does end up there…They are busy removing that plastic and recycling it. Putting it back into the plastic market.

We are recycling so little of the current amount of plastic that is produced nowadays, which is terrible. We need to be creating an economy around plastic that is circular.

One that has nearly 100% of plastic being recycled.

And Tom Jackson, CEO of Honest Ocean, is working hard to not only remove plastic from the oceans, but also give it new life in the plastic industry.

However, he didn’t stop there. He is based in Indonesia, where his factories provide work to many Indonesians who desperately need it.

If you are curious about what is being done about the massive amount of plastic waste in the oceans today, look no further than this episode with Tom Jackson, as we explore not only what Tom and his team are doing, but also the state of the plastic recycling industry, and what we will see moving forward.
