Workhorse (NASDAQ: WKHS), a leading innovator in zero-emission commercial vehicles, has delivered its W56 electric step van to NorthStar Courier, a FedEx (NYSE: FDX) Ground Contract Service Provider in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This marks the first deployment of the W56 by a FedEx Ground Service Provider outside California.

Now operating on parcel delivery routes in Minneapolis, the W56 showcases Minnesota's growing leadership in commercial EV adoption, supported by state grants promoting fleet electrification. Designed for last-mile delivery, the W56 offers businesses a sustainable solution to reduce emissions and operating costs.

Kelly Kiger, Vice President of Sales at the company stated: “Expanding adoption of electric vehicles in key states like Minnesota is vital to accelerating the transition to zero-emission transportation across the country.”
