He's a Research Fellow at The Foundation for Defense of Democracies, former Visiting Fellow with Chatham House, and contributor to a number of important media outlets. He shared his story growing up in Lebanon and changing his view on Israel, and among different topics that came up during our conversation he explained us how the Middle East narrative is off focus, how and why authoritarian regimes keep societies from knowing each other and what governments and civil societies can do to break free from this statu quo.
