Episode 46 of Gaming Couch! (And it feels good)
I believe we are at a new Golden Age of gaming (or fastly approaching one). There are so many games on the market, both good and bad, which is great. Instead of a race for the newest and better hardware we're looking at what games we want to create instead. Indie developers are allowed to take big risks on making a new type of game that can be published on mutliple platforms, while big game companies are able to take the safe bets and provide the support and consoles for everyone. There are plenty of engines to learn on and make your own game even if you lack programming skills.
God damn it's good to be alive right now.
