With over 17 years of experience, Purvi specializes in using innovative technologies to facilitate the documentation and rehabilitation of institutional buildings. During our conversation, we delve into the importance of documenting historic structures prior to demolition and maintaining organized, accessible, and backed-up digital documentation in an organization. We also discuss the challenges of migrating to digital documentation and the importance of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. As a registered architect with degrees in both Architecture and Historic Preservation, Purvi is passionate about learning and teaching, with a strong belief that diversity in all ways creates stronger and more resilient communities. She has presented at many conferences over the years, including BILTna conferences, Autodesk University, DesignDC, AIA National Conference, ArchEX conference, and the APTI Annual Conference, among others.
