Sherlock Jr. (1924) and Sex and the City 2 (2010)
Manage episode 312781443 series 3246340
In this episode we tackle the 45-minute Buster Keaton silent film masterpiece Sherlock Jr., and find that it contains a lot of the same elements as the terribly misguided sequel Sex and the City 2, a film that finds the fashionable foursome at their culturally insenstive worst in Abu Dhabi of all places. Sherlock Jr. is an amazing film - that you can watch free on YouTube - but we find that we can't turn away from discussing the trainwreck that is SatC2 (a.k.a. "Deucey-Sex").
We also get distracted and talk about the video of Kim Cattral scatting while her ex-husband plays stand up bass, and we even give the Kanines a little treat and do some performances of the poem ourselves. Welcome to hell!
