On this episode, Sophie and Fred tell the story of why they will always ask for late hotel check out from now on… They chat with special guests Whitney and Megan, also known as Wegan, who tell the fairytale story of how they met (who remembers MySpace!?). Whitney talks candidly about what it’s like coming out as gay in the Deep South of America, and what it’s like doing a four year long distance relationship between the UK and Hawaii! Both discuss the struggles with having parents who didn’t initially accept their sexuality, and how they both managed to turn that around and rebuild their relationships with them. They tell funny stories of always being mistaken for sisters, and more recently mother and daughter… They inform Sophie and Fred of the new law being introduced in April 2023 which will allow rights for same sex couples to IVF treatment to be more equal with heterosexual couple’s rights, and how that law came to be, including Whitney and Megan speaking in parliament. Finally, Sophie and Fred learn all about how sex works in a lesbian relationship, and ask the burning questions they’ve always wanted to know the answers to…
