Phil Metcalfe is once again joined by Jordan Clarke & Chris Metcalfe to discuss what many predicted would be the biggest Test of the year: All Blacks v Ireland in Dublin. Chris was there and talks about the occasion (0:49) then the lads discuss if the match reached their expectations (2:40) and recap the stunning defensive effort from the All Blacks (3:40). Ireland's inability to score a try is highlighted (5:09) before Chris raises the intelligent cynicism displayed by the All Blacks when under pressure (7:50). Phil asks if the occasion got on top of the Irish players (8:56) and poor Irish decision making is also questioned (11:25). Jaco Peyper's day out with the whistle is reviewed (12:25) before Chris reminds us all of the 3 basics to win a rugby match where Ireland where superior in just 2 (14:45). Then the lads try understand the Irish supporter backlash (15:33) and why the inability to score tries isn't being blamed for the loss (16:16). Chris shares what it's like right now as a Kiwi in Ireland (17:03) and the intentional physical tactic by the All Blacks is mulled upon (18:24). The growing opinion that there's a bias towards the All Blacks in the penalty:card department is discussed (19:57) and also how this isn't the first time Irish fans have reacted the way they are right now (21:40). Phil shares how frustrated he was with the game and asks was he alone in feeling that way (24:30). Then the focus turns to Aaron Smith vs TJ Perenara (27:22) before the lads look ahead to what's up next for Ireland (30:16) and the also for All Blacks (32:57). Any alternate jersey chat is avoided (34:17) before a brief recap of some great results over the weekend (34:43). Finally, the lads then give their predictions for this weekends significant Tests (38:12).
