For our very first episode we turn the looking glass inwards at the Bailey team and sit down with one of our most experienced field biologists, Dave Gummeson. We hear about his personal and career evolution from living on the remote Kure Atoll in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, to wrangling sea lion pups in Alaska to wrangling horses on the ranch as a cowboy, and how being in the field changes when you start a family.
