Walkers, the undead, flesh-eating corpses -- whatever you call them, zombies have been a part of myth and folklore for centuries, dating back to ancient greece. Zombie movies however got their start in 1932 with the release of White Zombie, starring Bela Lugosi as the Zombie Master.
It wasn’t until 1968 when George Romero’s “Night of the Living Dead” reinvented the zombie movie and created a genre of films that, like their namesakes, continue to shamble their way onto movie screens even today.
On this episode of Film Force 5 we will take a bite of the tastiest bits the genre has to offer and rank our favorite morsels. So grab a fork and dig in. You won’t leave hungry.
