Nicholas Cage has been a long-time actor, having begun his career in the late 1970s. His first film was Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), and he later became known for his performances in such films as Raising Arizona (1987), Moonstruck (1987), Con Air (1997), Face/Off (1997), Ghost Rider (2007), and National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007).
Cage earned his first Academy Award nomination for his role in Adaptation. Since then, he has received three more nominations, for Lord of War (2005), Knowing (2009) and The Croods (2013).
