Nearly a year later, Anthony talks about moving to Turkey to teach English. His travels began in the Peace Corps in Lesotho. Due to the pandemic, everyone in about 61 countries were sent back to their home country (including him). After being back in the US, last year he moved to Istanbul to teach English. We swap stories about teaching English as a second language to students, Anthony in Turkey and me in Taiwan. What are the differences between teaching adults vs teaching young learners? What has he learned about himself as a teacher? Plus the advice he gives to others who are looking to teach English abroad.
