A tough topic to cover but one that I had to speak on the day after the attack. I was not as knowledgeable about Muslim/Islam when I spoke about the attacks so I don't always sound intelligent during this episode.
Muslims are the people who follow Islam - like Christians follow Christianity. The fact that it's two different words seemed foreign to me the day I shot this but is one I have understood for some time.
This episode was hard to discuss for many reasons - death of people being among them. Plus there is the added fear or knowledge that if I say something wrong, wether I realize it at the time or not, then someone down the line will hear this, say I'm an a-hole and tear me up and down the street for my error.
So here's to those who died senselessly in Manchester, for everyone who has died because of terrorism, for everyone who has died because humans still fight religious wars mellenia after they started.
