At the edges of reality, paranormal beings exist; this concept is especially emphasised in the spaces of liminal zones—areas both figurative and literal that exist in the in-between. Throughout history, people have described all kinds of paranormal encounters with strange beings that not only haunt these areas but also thrive within them.
