Picture this: "I was in a crowded smelly bus using public transportation to get to my job as a call center trainer with a girlfriend expecting our first-born son. I was there in the first place because I couldn't repair my car until the next fortnight payment. While as I was clinging on to the rail of this over-crowed bus, I was listening to the audio book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki when suddenly it dawned on me: "I don't want this anymore." "I can do better." It was at that precise moment that something snapped in my brain that lifted the vail covering my eyes, and I realized that no matter my knowledge and years of work experience; I was just like everybody else on the that bus--we were all working for money. Exchanging our time for a paycheck every fortnight. That was the critical moment in my life that caused a profound shift in my mindset. I clearly saw for the first time how dependent I was on a paycheck every fortnight. I cleary saw how much I believed in the false illusion of "job security". From that moment on, I broke free from every conception I've ever had about work and money, and I took the path least walked.
