When your time comes (I know we don’t like to think about that), what kind of person will you be?
Right now, you’re laying the foundation for who you’ll be in your old age. Some people age gracefully, full of joy and happiness despite their growing infirmities. For others, old age only brings sorrow and anger.
You might not realize it, but the decisions you make today will shape the kind of person you’ll be, not just tomorrow, but years from now. So, who will you be by the end of your life? What kind of person will getting old make you?

In his prologue to the epilogue of his book, Solomon wants us to wrestle with the reality of growing old so that we’ll use the present to make our future—even old age—into something beautiful.
