Tonight we say "So long, pally" to the great James Darren, best known to Trekkers for playing Vic Fontaine on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. But he also played a host of other memorable characters on other shows like Time Tunnel and TJ Hooker, and films like the Gidget series.
