Because sin gives the devil a foothold and damages our relationship with God.

Living a holy life is not about earning God's love or salvation but reflecting our true identity in Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18 explains that we are transformed by beholding God's glory and renewing our minds to our new identity in Christ. Embrace the new nature in Christ and live out the holiness that God has already placed within us.
