Today on the show Steven and Shaun discuss the character limit explosion on social media these days, how Shaun felt after being called blind by a passer by, and we meet Google’s Product Manager for Android, Lisie Lillianfeld.

The guys open the show with their usual banter picking up on Shaun’s recent experience with a passer-by who tried to help him by yelling ‘Blind Guy” to a motorist who was reversing out of his drive. Why did this bother Shaun so much?

And since we’re on irritations, Steven shares his most recent after finding people on social media network Mastodon writing posts up to 10,000 characters long. Is it too much, or is this the path of new social media?

And later in the show the guys are joined by special guest Lisie Lilianfeld, Google’s Product Manager for Android, to discuss the recent implementation of Google’s AI called Gemini into the Android screenreader called Talkback, making it easier to get high quality image descriptions from photos on social media and online.
