The Jester held his ground as the forms in the room rushed at the door. Unfazed by the commotion, he watched as they passed into the light from the door. About a dozen feral vampires scurried around in the room before them, each appearing more ancient and violent than the last.
The Heroes were surprised by this revelation, and gave looks of distrust towards the bishop and religious leaders. Maintaining feral vampires in a location such as this would be unimaginably difficult, which only raised more questions. Based on the situation, it was clear that the vampires here had some relation to the one the Heroes had slain previously. They would make sure the religious leaders would talk.
