Manage episode 399241235 series 3515736
Hey, welcome to an episode of Crippled by Culture, where we talk about everything in life and relate it to the disability and chronically ill community. My name is Sean Gold and I am author, advocate, and nonverbal public speaker for the disability community. Today I would like to thank Terry Briscoe for being my voice in this episode. In this episode, we are talking about the intersections of disability, Sexuality, mental health, community, and healing. Guest bio: Jebin is a teacher, editor, and queer academic. He grew up in a conservative society and suffered from internalized homophobia as a child. Later on, in college, he was diagnosed with depression. Jebin is on the path to healing now. His quest is to find out how we can all heal, particularly in the LGBT community, and live life to the fullest.
