In this episode, I open up an give you insight into Coach Ed. LOL. Yes you read that right, today I pill back another layer of who you hear and see today. We're diving deep into my world of mentorship, personal growth, and the incredible impact it has had on me over the year. Come with me as I take a trip down memory lane, reminiscing about my early days of coaching and the seeds we planted in my many young players' lives.

The essence of the episode lies in the power of mentorship. I shared stories of players reaching out, expressing their thanks, and acknowledging the impact of those early coach-player relationships. As a coach, the blood, sweat, and tears we poured into them, not always knowing if they were truly soaking it in. But guess what? The messages I've been receiving from these players, now grown and navigating the journey of life, have been nothing short of inspiring. It's a beautiful thing to witness how the tough love, discipline, and life lessons we instilled in them back then are now bearing fruit. From career successes to personal growth, these players are a testament to the enduring influence of mentorship.

As I dove into their messages, I couldn't help but feel a swell of pride and joy. They're out there, making strides, and some are even paying it forward by becoming mentors themselves. It's like watching the seeds we planted grow into strong, resilient trees, providing shade for others in their journey.

I challenged each of you to get involved in mentorship, to support programs that make a difference, and to share their own mentorship journeys. The goal? To create a ripple effect of positive change and inspire others to give back.

This episode was more than just a broadcast; it was a conversation, a call to community, and a celebration of the incredible impact we can have on one another's lives. So, if you haven't caught it yet, hit play, soak in the stories, and let's keep this wave of inspiration rolling!

Lastly, you don't have to be an athlete to be a mentor. Whether it's reading to kids, coaching, or just offering guidance, there are countless ways to mentor in your community. Consider supporting programs that make a difference in young lives. A shoutout to Choice Management Knights in Covington, Georgia. If you want to contribute, reach out and I'll put you in contact with the director of the program! As a bonus, I wanted to share a powerful morning prayer I came across that inspired me. Let's support the young man that I heard pray on IG THATPATB2.

Remember, I want to hear from each one of you! Share your mentorship journey with others. Send pictures, share your experiences on social media, or leave a voicemail on Cousin Ed's Corner website.
