Concerns have been raised over a lack of access to GP’s in Kildysart. Due to complications with the service provider, many residents now have to travel to Clarecastle to receive treatment at the Safron and Blue Medical Clinic in Clarecastle. A community meeting took place in Kildysart last Monday evening to discuss the issue, and since then the matter has been raised with Health Minister Stephen Donnelly, who has pledged to meet a delegation from the community. To find out more about what is going on, Alan Morrissey was joined by Timmy Dooley, Clare Fianna Fáil Senator from Mountshannon.
