Interviewed by CIRCAD's Francis Bouchard, Duke's inaugural Climate Leader in Residence, Sidoti discusses the juxtaposition of high-fidelity cost accounting within the insurance sector, against low-fidelity accounting on the uninsured side. Sidoti discusses the need for decision-support at community levels and capturing impacts from nature-based and other mitigation solutions. Sidoti emphasizes the importance of considering impacts from losses, and how they may change, depending on the specific community and individual experiencing said losses.
