Are the Mariners blowing it? We talked a couple weeks ago about the Mariners having a time to struggle, we didn’t realize that time would happen so quickly. If we’d been told that the Mariners would have a 3.5 game lead in the division to start July, would we take it no matter how we got there? Absolutely. July and August are usually when we heat up, can we do that again this year? This offense has been terrible and people who would normally be successful are terrible- i.e. Polanco and J-Rod. Have the Mariners broken Polanco and Garver and others? Why are proven hitters performing so poorly when they come to Seattle? The Mariners are still reportedly going to be very active at the deadline. :30- BREAKING NEWS: the Kraken have signed free agent defenseman Brandon Montour from the Panthers. :45- Caitlin Clark and Diana Taurasi matched up and it seemed like Taurasi and Griner went out of their way to say hi and have a moment with the rookie.
