Pete Thompson is the proud chairman of Cambridge and Coleridge Athletics Club. He is also a top runner with 30 years of racing under his belt. In the veteran ranks he has excelled and regularly achieves over 90% for his age-graded results. In this chat we talk about his journey into running and some of the old times training with coach Barry Matthews. Pete tells us about his best performances and favourite races . We then talk about what drew him to the role of club chairman and what the position entails.
