When Deb Leary was reluctantly dragged along to a policing conference by her husband, she had a lightbulb moment that led to her setting up pioneering forensics firm Forensic Pathways.
Deb, who became president of Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce in 2021, tells Henrietta how being “naturally nosey and curious” has been integral to her entrepreneurial journey.
But there is far more to Deb than the serious business of forensics.
Away from her day job, the self-deprecating CEO is involved in a number of initiatives including Funny Women – a group that encourages women to take part in stand-up comedy and find their voice.
