In this episode Brandi and Steven step into the square circle to debate the best wrestler of the 1990s. In one corner, from the Golden Era of wrestling is Bret “The Hitman” Hart. And from the Attitude Era, we’ve got Latino Heat himself, Eddie Guerrero.
Joining us to referee is Ari Trujillo-John, the co-founder and CEO of the community organizing app, Openfield.
We go deep on the history of wrestling from its barnstorming days to the commercial juggernaut it is today. We also give Chyna her due for her influence in breaking the mold for women wrestlers. And we talk about the racism and monopoly power of the WWE, and whether startups like AEW can change that.
