In Football: After the record–breaking FIFA Women’s World Cup down under in 2023, the A-League's stats for women’s football in Australia since then, shows great growth:
· 11,000 fans at the season opener - the biggest attendance ever.

And finally in combat sports: “That’s the heavyweight division, it only takes one punch,” Tevita Pangai Junior said on Saturday night – his boxing career on the ropes after the former NRL star was knocked out in the first round by Kenny Niko who had lost all three of his only professional fights before Saturday.
It is a devastating blow for the former NSW State of Origin enforcer, who was this week given the cold shoulder by the Melbourne Storm.
And that’s a wrap!
