Hour 1 Jerry and CLo are here for this post-Christmas show. Jerry enjoyed the Knicks game on Christmas Day but wishes the NBA product was better on a daily basis rather than just entertaining on big days and in the postseason. CLo and Jerry wonder why fans don’t enjoy the daily grind of the regular season as much as they used to. Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs gave the Knicks a fight yesterday but the Knicks held on. Pat Boyle is here for his first update of the day and Jerry wants everyone to know that Pat has not been feeling well. Add that to CLo spending his Christmas Eve in different urgent care centers and Jerry is surrounded by sick folks. Josh Hart praised Mikal Bridges after the Knicks win. The Chiefs beat the Steelers and clinched home-field throughout the playoffs. Boyle thinks the Steelers should go back to Justin Fields. In the final segment of the hour, a caller shares that Jerry’s 2025 calendar was the best gift he received for Christmas. Does anyone on the show have an interest in going to a sporting event on Christmas Day? It sounds like yes for the Knicks but absolutely not for football. Hour 2 Jerry had problems opening Netflix on one of his TVs. When he figured it out he was treated to two blowouts. The Steelers have crashed back down to Earth the last few weeks. CLo still has questions about Lamar Jackson in the postseason. Can anyone go into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs? Jerry thinks this is Josh Allen’s year but CLo isn’t so sure Sean McDermott can win a big game on the road. The Texans looked lost against the Ravens. Pat returns for an update and begins with the Knicks win. Mikal Bridges pays tribute to parents who make Christmas happen. Zoo teaches Boyle a lesson that entertains CLo. LeBron and the Lakers outlasted Steph Curry and the Warriors. LeBron said of the NBA, “Christmas is our day.” Boyle refutes one aspect of the infamous sleeping on Boomer’s couch story. Andy Reid dressed up as Santa Claus in a celebratory Chiefs locker room. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry and CLo wonder why Netflix had so many people involved in the Christmas broadcasts. Hour 3 One caller found Netflix’s coverage refreshing. CLo thought Beyoncé's halftime show felt like a Super Bowl production. Jerry wasn’t sure if he knew any Beyoncé songs.Pat returns for an update and begins with Aaron Rodgers saying his future is unknown. Jerry says money is ruining sports and mentions how Colorado took out an insurance policy so their big-name players can play in their bowl game. Rutgers plays in the Rate Bowl today. The Knicks were wowed by Victor Wembanyama. Jerry and CLo join the club. Mike Tomlin called his team junior varsity after their loss to the Chiefs. In the final segment of the hour, a caller compares Aaron Rodgers wanting to play to NBA players who sit out many regular season games. Then, CLo shares the origin of the Chris Russo “he’s lazy” drop. It has to do with potty-training. Hour 4 Jerry and CLo agree the Knicks look great and the acquisition of Karl-Anthony Towns was a game-changer. CLo worries if their defense took too much of a hit compared to the strength it was last year. Pat returns for his final update of the day but first, Jerry asks him to guess the get-in-the-door prices for some of this weekend’s NFL games. The guys are slightly surprised by some of the fanbases that are paying top dollar to see their teams. The guys thought players were on the court before the buzzer went off at the end of the Lakers win over the Warriors. Ian and Noah Eagle called the Christmas games for Netflix. The Moment of The Day: Pat Boyle thought he knew the NBA but Ed Arzooman truly knows the NBA. In the final segment of the day, CLo explains the medical situation that started his Christmas Eve off on the wrong note. He had to take himself to multiple urgent care centers and the alarm went off at one.
