Jerry is back for an update but first we fill him in on everything we learned about Azerbaijan. DJ LeMahieu had himself a day in Philly as the Yankees swept the Phillies. Boomer thinks the Mets can win the division but Gio says that is absolutely not happening. Adam Schein is fired up about Jazz Chisholm and the Yankees. Jerry wonders if Schein’s sons sound like their dad and that inspires Gio. Evan Roberts is getting set for a drunk Rico Brogna podcast episode during his upcoming vacation. He also has a strange plan for how to listen to and score a game during his drive to North Carolina. Gio says he and Evan could not possibly be more different. Aaron Rodgers told reports at Jets camp he was talking about golf when he made the Davante Adams comment and was trying to get a questioner to go away. Garrett Wilson appreciates Aaron Rodgers getting on him for mistakes. A Tennessee radio host handled an angry player very well. Team USA basketball rolled over South Sudan and Katie Ledecky won another gold medal. In the final segment of the hour, a caller who was just on a remote island off the coast of Italy tells Gio to check it out when he goes on vacation next week. She thinks the man she met could be God. Gio shares the sad news that Joan in Ridgewood, who we met in an accidental phone call a few months ago, has passed away.
