This episode is about a project in which a publishing house commissioned prominent writers to, more or less, rewrite some of #Shakespeares’ most famous plays. The results varied. But the project raises several interesting questions, about Shakespeare’s work, how we interpret it today, and how we look at works that have traditionally been highly venerated. This question is particularly important in cultures that lack serious #education and that discourages critical #thinking.
