Tameka Fryer Brown is the author of several picture books, including Around Our Way on Neighbors’ Day, My Cold Plum Lemon Pie Bluesy Mood, and Brown Baby Lullaby, winner of the 2021 Anna Dewdney Award. She is also a contributor to The Brown Bookshelf, an award-winning website whose mission is to promote awareness of Black children’s book creators and their work.
