George Washington wing and DMV native Garrett Johnson missed two years of college basketball while battling with a rare tumor in his hip. He endured multiple 9-hour surgeries and 9 rounds of chemo to be able to get back on the court and he's off to a great start to the season. GW is 3-0 and Johnson is a big reason why, averaging 17 points and 7.7 rebounds on 46.7% shooting from three. He was recently named Atlantic10 Rookie of the Week. Garrett talks about what he's had to overcome, the role basketball played in staying positive, where his game is at, and how he feels physically now.
