Megan talks us through the Practice Fusion case in the United States, where a company was fraudulently receiving money from a pharmaceutical company to influence the design of CDSS software. Megan highlights potential complexities in working out legal responsibility if things go wrong because of a decision is made using CDSS: i.e. is the doctor still responsible for a decision made with the support of a machine?
