Durante algún tiempo en Ecuador las palabras 'participación ciudadana' son parte de la coyuntura social y política. Desde el 2008 que se incluye a esta como una función más del Estado, muchas organizaciones sociales y activistas han profundizado su trabajo gracias a este umbral constitucional.
Junto a Vicente Martínez analizamos las consecuencias de institucionalizar la participación de la gente y cómo podemos fortalecerla pese a estar muy desgastada.
