This book delves into scientific, historical, religious, and cultural phenomena, that have led to the ocularcentrism of our world, a term that Leona Godin coined to mean a visual perception and way of thinking whose impact people who are blind or low vision still feel today.

Host Kristen Witucki and other members of the Tamman team chat about the many different topics discussed in this book including echolocation, which led to us further exploring echocolation in this episode of Article 19!
