Ep. 782 - For a first game, there was a lot to like in Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Saints. No, the Cardinals didn’t win - they lost 16-14 on a last-second field goal - but they competed; and more importantly, several players flashed. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman discuss their biggest takeaways. Clayton Tune commanded the offense; Michael Carter looked fast; Darius Robinson and Xavier Thomas, a couple of rookies, were disruptive; and Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, aka Rabbit, lived up to his nickname. All was good to see in a game in which many of the starters didn’t play and may not play at all here in the preseason. The best news, though, is that the team came out “pretty clean” in terms of injuries, according to Jonathan Gannon.
