Lesson - 020 | (Twentieth Episode )

In this lesson, you will be able to learn the five forms of a verb.

The birth of a verb is known as Infinitive (stem/base from/root) when you add s, es, or ies it becomes the singular form of that particular verb. There are two types of a verb. Regular and irregular. Usually, when you add "d" , "ed" or "ied" to the infinitive of a regular verb it becomes the simple past tense form. Irregular verbs have a unique simple past tense form. When you add "ing" to the Infinitive it becomes the Continuous or the progressive form. The past participle form of a regular verb is usually the same as the simple past tense form of those regular verbs whereas Irregular verbs have a unique past participle form for each.
