This Great Search is a big throwback to every electrical engineer's first power supply. The LM7805 is a mainstay regulator, available in TO-220 package, as well as TO-92 and SMT. Today, we found a social media post of someone repairing a SEGA Master System (https://twitter.com/nosIndulgences/status/1758586503868080259) where they needed to replace the LDO.
