It starts at the Heart If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, [a]how can he love God whom he has not seen? 1 John 4:20 I believe it all starts at the heart. You can’t love God and hate your brothers and sisters. If you don’t love God you can’t love others and you don’t consider others as your brothers and sisters because you aren’t a part of the body of Christ, but working under the influence of Satan. If you have hate and racism in your heart you can’t love others. You can’t treat others how Christ would because Christ doesn’t live in you. Satan comes to divide and those participating in division by way of racism, hate, oppression, and injustice they can’t see our struggles and pain. How can we expect them to act differently without the love of God? For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
